The Morgantown chapter of Food Not Bombs formed in 2024, but the Food Not Bombs movement started in 1980. http://foodnotbombs.net/new_site/index.php
The principles of any Food Not Bombs group are:
- Always vegan or vegetarian food
- Free to everyone regardless of economic status or sobriety
- Each chapter is independent and autonomous and makes decisions using the consensus process
- Food Not Bombs is NOT a charity and is dedicated to nonviolent social change
